The North Bend Council held a public hearing on October 3 and authorized new amounts for school impact fees based on information from the Snoqualmie Valley School District’s Capital Facilities Plan. The school impact fee amounts will increase for multifamily units, growing from $5,534.14 to $6,391.47 per unit. However, the single-family fee will decrease significantly, dropping from $16,202.85 to $9,230.89 per unit.

Additionally, the City has determined cottage or other residential dwellings greater than 1,200 square feet shall be charged the single-family rate, and the multifamily rate shall apply to cottage or other residential dwellings equal to or less than 1,200 square feet, consistent with the City’s Transportation Impact Fee.
